Ke$ha—Hollywood's well-renowned, classless electropop princess—released a music video for her song "Die Young" recently. The song is a single from Ke$ha's latest album Warrior, which will be released on December 4th.

In the video, Ke$ha plays a cult leader in Mexico and has amorous followers who worship and caress her incessantly. In the beginning of the video, Ke$ha emerges from the back of a hearse and then is carried by two members of her cult into an abandoned church, where all of the immoral "fun" takes place. There, countless scenes in the music video show Ke$ha wearing skimpy clothing, dancing seductively, and engaging in what appears to be orgy-like behavior. Also, many scenes show cult members of both opposite and same sexes kissing each other in ways that easily make you feel nauseated. The party finally ends when police come to the church and shoot at its door until Ke$ha makes her grand exit from the church.

If you thought the music video was disgusting enough, take a look at its lyrics, which further condone the immoral activities Ke$ha and her lustful followers partake in.

The song begins with these lyrics, which clearly convey how Ke$ha and her followers are up for some YOLO free lovin':

"I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums                                 Oh what a shame that you came here with someone                          So while you're here in my arms
Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young"
As the song continues, it further celebrates wild and liberated young people who enjoy living in the moment and care less about the long-term consequences of their actions:

"Young hearts, out our minds
 Runnin like we outta time
 Wild childs, lookin' good
Livin hard just like we should
Don't care whose watching when we tearing it up (You Know)
That magic that we got nobody can touch (For sure)"

The song especially gets tasteless towards the end, as evidenced here in these lyrics:

"Young hunks, taking shots
 Stripping down to dirty socks
 Music up, gettin' hot
Kiss me, give me all you've got
It's pretty obvious that you've got a crush (you know)
That magic in your pants, it's making me blush (for sure)"

Has America become Sodom and Gomorrah? It appears so, with "artists" like Ke$ha becoming the face of our culture. It is unfortunate that American pop culture is elevating people like Ke$ha, who makes a living by promoting immorality and a degrading, trashy version of femininity through auto-tuned, empty songs.  Now that music like Ke$ha's has become the norm, it is not surprising to see women my age emulating singers like Ke$ha in their dress and behavior.

If we want our pop culture to turn around and embrace the Judeo-Christian values that formed our great nation's foundation, our generation must speak out against songs like "Die Young" and encourage others to stop buying such debasing music. As a result, singers would ultimately stop perpetuating immoral garbage in their music if they lacked the fan base needed to keep it going. Only real, "pop cultured" change will take place if the American people outwardly reject toxic songs that keep on polluting our culture.

They said the same thing about Sir Mix a-lots time-honored anthem "Baby Got Back", where the man proclaims that he likes big butts, and it has made an honest god fearing man out of him, since he cannot lie anymore.

And don't even get me started on Lil' John; I've gone to the window and to the wall more times than I can count (and I dare say so have you, unless your idea of a good time on a Friday is an 8:30 bed time)

If I may refer to you to the glorious wisdom of one of the staples of American culture, Blades of Glory:
"Lady humps? I don't even know what that means..."
"No one knows what it means, but it's provocative"
"No its not its disgusting!"
"IT GETS THE PEOPLE GOING!"

And it goes without saying that Will Ferrell is in the right on this one.
So I will continue to rock out to songs with booty-shaking beats. You can complain about the music video all day, I'll be on the dance floor having your fun for you.

Can you please write about the war on Christmas? They won't let me make Jews say Merry Christmas. Can you believe what goes on in Obama's America? #Nobama #420NO

Interesting piece, Maria. It looks like we have very similar feelings towards Ke$ha.
