Johnny Whichard
Johnny Whichard is a junior at the University of Notre Dame. He is currently studying Business Management Consulting and Film Production. Originally from Grand Rapids, MI and raised in Orange County, CA, he comes from two parents with colorful backgrounds from Detroit and the valley in California. Raised Catholic, Johnny is constantly questioning his Catholic faith and has been heavily influenced by the writings of non-denominational Christian Francis Chan. He is pro-life, against gay marriage for the sake of children being adopted, believes the Constitution is a God-given document and is for radical subsidiarity in America: that for what a man can do for himself, no higher power should take precedence. Johnny is against government handouts and believes in private charity. Johnny also hopes to someday eliminate all income tax and replace it with sales tax to ensure that people keep their earnings and that those who spend the most contribute the most to the only things the federal government should spend money on: military, infrastructure, and a legal system.
