Sarah Landeene
Sarah Landeene is a junior Finance major at Grove City College in western Pennsylvania. At Grove City, Sarah has enjoyed promoting conservative ideas by working as the head of development for the Grove City College Journal of Law and Public Policy as well as a marketing fellow for the Center for Vision and Values, a conservative think-tank on campus. This past summer, Sarah participated in the Koch Internship Program in Washington, DC. This experience deepened her understanding of public policy and nurtured her passion of preserving the ideas that went into America’s founding. In addition, reading and discussing the works of free-society thinkers such as Friedrich Hayek, Ludwig von Mises, and Frédéric Bastiat gave her a stronger grasp of economic freedom, free enterprise, and individual liberty as the keys to prosperity. In the fall of 2010, Sarah worked as a development intern for a gospel mission in Washington State. In addition, she spent 3 weeks during the summers of 2009 and 2010 teaching English to school children in Beijing, China. Both experiences sparked an interest in working in a non-profit setting. After finishing her undergraduate studies, Sarah hopes to work for a think tank organization and promote conservative ideals in the public policy world.
